Responsibility

At FEYCOLOR, our values towards our employees, customers, suppliers and the general public are our top priority. In the development, production and marketing of our products, we emphasise the importance of protecting the environment and natural resources, far beyond the legal requirements.

Our success is based on the determined work of all our colleagues, who ensure innovation and a sustained customer focus and who are committed to consistent quality and, last but not least, compliance with ethical principles. Creativity and innovation, as well as team spirit, trust, respect and open communication are very important to us. Consistent adherence to the values of trustworthiness and reliability, to moral standards and to the principle of legality and legitimacy is of central importance to us. The Code of Conduct of the Mipa Group clarifies our stance on legal requirements and ethical issues and also emphasises the expectations we have of ourselves and our business partners, employees and suppliers.

It is equally important to us that responsible behaviour underlies all stages of the value chain. We therefore expect all suppliers and partners of FEYCOLOR to comply with these principles and have summarised this in the Code of Conduct for Suppliers of the Mipa Group.

Safety without compromise

REACH
The REACH regulation is the EU chemicals regulation. REACH stands for Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals. As a manufacturer of paints and coating materials, we take on the role of the “downstream user” under REACH. This means that we have no direct obligation to register our products. However, we ensure that the substances we use are initially pre-registered by the respective manufacturers or importers in accordance with their use in the coatings industry and will also be registered with the European Chemicals Agency in the future. FEYCOLOR fulfils the legal requirements on time. As a consumer of our products, you are therefore on the safe side.

Responsible Care
FEYCOLOR actively participates in the “Responsible Care” programme, a worldwide, voluntary initiative developed independently by the chemical industry. It stands for the chemical industry's commitment to act responsibly towards people and the environment. The chemical companies undertake to continuously improve their performance in the areas of environmental protection, occupational health and safety, plant safety, product responsibility, logistics and dialogue with their neighbours and the public – regardless of legal requirements.
